Recycle trash did not get picked up last week at all, though it was the week scheduled. Do we know why or it the trash was deferred to this week?

You must have misread the calendar. We get recycle pickup every other week. The calendar shows that today the 21st is a recycle day, and so there was no service for the week of the 14th.
