“Call for heavy trash” concept on hold

We were told at tonight’s meeting that the City is now pausing their “call for heavy trash pickup” program idea while the Mayor’s proposal for a monthly trash fee gets reviewed. They also did not tell anyone when the pickup last week was coming – so for now we all just stand by.

Everyone with bulk trash/tree debris to call 832-394-1453 with individual case requests. This is the contact that was given to the property management company. If you have anything in your yard, please call this number and tell them you have a missed pickup – and let’s see if anything happens.

The HTX Connects app posted last night that heavy trash is scheduled for today – Wednesday April 8th – agreeing with/confirming(?) a homeowner post to the Facebook page a few days ago – which conflicts with press reports saying they were going to an on-demand/311 request system. All residents are welcome for questions, concerns, or just meet the neighbors. We have something like $200 in door prizes – we need 34 homeowners represented in person or by proxy vote. A special door prize just for those who drop off a proxy to the Rec Center.

What is Sterling Knoll?

Sterling Knoll Subdivision is a community of homes.  There are 337 houses and a park in Sterling Knoll.  The neighborhood was built in the late 1970’s.

Where is Sterling Knoll?

We are located along El Dorado Blvd. between Interstate 45 and Texas Highway 3, in the City of Houston.  We are in the Clear Creek ISD.

Why Sterling Knoll?

Because we have a great location! Easy access to the freeway, Clear Lake, Baybrook Mall – while still being quiet and isolated away from traffic!
